Pricing
$25,000 per hire.
Not a percentage of salary. No retainer, no exclusivity, and nothing owed until they’ve been with you thirty days.

- No retainer and no exclusivity
- The brief is free, whether or not we work together
The arithmetic
Where a flat fee wins, and where it doesn’t.
Under $100,000, a recruiter charging 25% costs less than we do, and we’d rather say so up front. Above it, the gap grows with every dollar you add to the offer.
| First-year salary | Cost at 25% | Our cost | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100,000 | $25,000 | $25,000 | $0 |
| $150,000 | $37,500 | $25,000 | $12,500 |
| $200,000 | $50,000 | $25,000 | $25,000 |
| $300,000 | $75,000 | $25,000 | $50,000 |
| $500,000 | $125,000 | $25,000 | $100,000 |
When you pay
One invoice, thirty days after they start.
Nothing up front and nothing at the offer. When your hire has been with you thirty days, we send one invoice for $25,000. If they leave before then, you owe nothing. That’s the whole payment schedule, and the agreement is two pages.
Questions
What people ask about the fee.
How much do recruiters usually charge?
Contingency recruiters charge a percentage of first-year salary, usually 15 to 25%, with 20% the common benchmark. Retained search firms charge 25 to 35% of first-year pay, usually in three payments, and ask you to commit to one firm. We charge a flat $25,000 per hire.
Why a flat fee instead of a percentage?
Because a percentage pays the recruiter more when your offer goes up. A flat fee means we have no stake in the salary, so our advice about it is just advice.
Do I have to stop working with other recruiters?
No. We never ask for exclusivity.
Is there a retainer, or anything up front?
No. The first thing you pay is one invoice, thirty days after your hire starts.
What if the person leaves in the first thirty days?
You owe nothing.
Does the fee change for senior roles?
No. It’s $25,000 per hire, whatever the title or the salary.
Do you guarantee a hire or a start date?
No. Nobody controls either. What we do control, we do fast: interviews within 24 hours of the day you say go, and everyone on the list reached within days.
What if we already know the candidate?
If you interviewed them before we introduced them, send us proof, such as a resume, within three days of the introduction and there’s no fee for that person.
What does the brief cost?
Nothing. Submit a job description and a recruiter will text you a full recruiting brief within four hours, whether or not we ever work together.
